Letterpress!

This has been one of my most favorite projects for two reasons.  First - Laura is the sister of one of my best friends and has been the biggest supporter of The Satin Bow since the beginning... Second - She opted for LETTERPRESS printing on amazing Crane's Lettra - Pearl White 220 lb cover 100% cotton paper!  The results were amazing!  With this printing and paper choice, the simple gray and pale pink ink and die cut shape was all you needed to make her guests go WOW!  And since this lovely couple know how to have the fun - the tandem bike on the Response card brought out their true nature.  Congratulations Laura and David!

1st Birthday Winter Wonderful - Die Cut Invitation with Snowflake Buckle and Party Day

How about some winter glitter for your daughter's first birthday?
From the candy display signs, wish book and custom banner, nothing says winter girl celebration like silver sparkles, rhinestone buckle snowflakes and pale pink accents.
Happy 1st Birthday Mia!

Michael's First Birthday

Happy First Birthday Michael!
I wonder which version your mommy is going to pick?
Layered Die Cut, Rounded Corners, or Rectangle Layered?
And what color for backing?
Would love to see some comments on your favorite!

Lace, Rhinestone Buckle and Ribbon - Vintage Girl's Dream!

So excited to be working with Stephanie.  She has an amazing vision and I think we have created the perfect invite to represent her and Richard's special day.

Modified Pocket Fold with Lace, Ribbon, Rhinestone Buckle and a vintage die cut design both on the main invitation and the response card.

Now we just need to decide if we add a few rhinestones to the inside...

Die Cut Baby Shower - Bee Hive

So, she loves Winnie the Pooh, but did not want to represent the character.  What better way then with yellow, brown, & a beehive.  I can just see the that funny old bear looking up at it!  And the textured metallic yellow paper makes me think of fur...
The envelope has the matching beehive and computer calligraphy of guests names/addresses.  A great way to tie it all together and get your guests excited just from seeing the envelope.

He Put a RIng on It! - Save the Date or Announcement

Eleanor wanted to showcase her new ring and use the term "He put a ring on it." somewhere on the announcement. But she did not want just a basic picture postcard. So we came up with a fun design using a picture of her ring, but die cut into an elegant shape. And choose a soft, pale yellow in a shimmer texture. Plus of course a little ribbon... we are The Satin Bow after all :-)

My Sister's Shower

For the place cards I made custom note cards for each of the guests and had that be the place cards. This could have acted as the favor too... but we wanted to give a little extra... For the favors I did a die cut tag that said "Amy's Bridal Shower." The table numbers were a simple design but used the fun pale pink pattern paper from her invitation. I also did the die cut patterned part on the invitation for a bottom stand for the floral arrangements... that my wonderful mother made... bet you did not know she used to be in the flower business!

Jean Diaper Invitation... Plus Boy, Girl or Irish?

We are so excited to offer die cut invitations now. We have many to pick from. Here is the diaper design. We actually got JEAN Paper.. so it is a fun play on the new Jean Diapers from Huggies. The Paper looks and feels close to the actual Jean Fabric.
This design could be an invitation or an announcement. The possibilities on color combination or decorative paper/ribbons is endless. I have a very proud Irish friend who flipped when I showed her the one with the Irish ribbon!
